Hello, P.G: Well, it seems that for whatever reason I cannot download anything from Mediafire, so I’m up the proverbial creek with nowhere to download the Sims 3 Pandora files from….. unless you have any other ideas. All three Sims3 games / expansions are patched up to date (v.1.26 on the main game) and I’ve tried the CC in both the root game folder and also in My Documents….. my Config file looks like this and, yes, it’s in the correct folder (Mods):

I’ve seen another Config file that wasn’t as deep or inclusive…… maybe this is the wrong one, but it looks like it should work. I’m close to saying screw it and going back to Sims 2, but I really don’t want to do that because of the new game content and graphic quality.

You really did all several steps that I had told you, which may causes the problem with the download? Also, -do not- try to place both CCs in your Doc directory as well as C drive, nor using your C Drive directory again for the placement. It will only work with the patch you had mentioned in Doc directory. If not, please clear away all those unnecessary files.
“I’ve seen another Config file that wasn’t as deep or inclusive” What do you mean? Have you done anything related to the cfg file(s)?
Follow more of these possibilities:
1) Wait a couple minutes/hours/days, it is Mediafire’s fault.
2) If you are downloading with Firefox or other browsers, try using Internet Explorer, it will always work.
3) Any natural disasters or very bad weather? It may damaged several cables that may causes the connection to the download.

Hi, PG: just wanted to let you know I figured out my Mediafire download problem, and all is well with that. However, I went back to TS2 for now. TS3 was just too much of a hassle no matter what I did. I’ll get it working when I have the time. Thanks for all you do for so many Sims lovers.

What does it mean: Download (for trial) ? `Cause when i downloaded some hairstyle from this site and unpacked it to ‘ downloads ‘ folder , i dont have this in the game , and when i downloaded something directly from example peggyzone , i have it in the game . I don’t get it , and so sorry for my english. i’m still learning (;

Download for trial, means our original purpose was to give out trials of those custom contents. About the content not showing in the game, it is either you had placed them into the wrong place, some corrupted/bad files stored into your folder or either you didn’t extract the whole thing nor your file format isn’t matching to the correct places.

I extracted it to my documents/EA Games/The sims 2/Downloads. I always extract downloaded files there, and they always work. I don’t think it’s format fault, beacuse all the files located there have the same. I really have no idea what’s going on .

What download did you take? Since it matters as we provide Sims 3 contents as well. That may be a mess up cause Sims 2 do not relate to Sims 3.

Know about it. I download files to the sims 2 , not 3. It has nothing to do with the fact, that the hairstyle I downloading called “mesh” ? Sorry to bother you, but i really like those hairstyle.

The file format, after extraction, is .package and I put it in my documents/EA Games/The sims 2/Downloads

Were there any errors message from the game? How many custom contents are you putting it at once? What had you downloaded for the game, it may be the reason you don’t know where to find it, but it could have already been existed somewhere.

I cant seem to download any of the hairstyles by clicking the download link. Every time I do it sends me to “Multi-Upload” then it says that it couldnt get me to the site. Am I doing something wrong?
